‘Best Places to Work’ for 2016 topped by Airbnb: Google, Facebook, Linkedin left far behind

Google is no longer the best place to work. Neither is Microsoft or for that matter another new age corporation Facebook.

Airbnb has been named as the best company to work. The latest listing of the best employers has Facebook on the fifth spot. The social networking giant is ahead of search giant Google that has been placed on the eighth spot.

In the meantime another networking site Linkedin is on the 6th spot while Boston Consulting Group is on the seventh spot.google office

Airbnb that has topped the list is followed by Bain & Company, Guidewire and Hubspot that is on the fourth spot.

The list has been released by the job recruiting marketplace Glassdoor’s annual 50 “Best Places to Work” roundup. The home-sharing company, which did not appear on the list last year, pushed Google out of the top spot for 2016.

Glassdoor says that the companies have been selected in that order by their employees. It says that the listing has been ranked “by the people who know these companies best—their employees”.
