He is one of the most gifted actors in the country and Ranbir Kapoor is achieving one milestone after the other. Reports suggest that Besharam box office collection on day 1 is second only to Chennai Express.

Ranbir Kapoor is the most promising kid in the Indian film industry at the moment. He is a super star who is giving very tough fight to the existing super stars of the Indian cinema. Apart from the top three Khans of the Indian cinema he seems to have emerged as the fourth most important force in a matter of years, leaving behind the likes of Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan and others.

But we really don’t know as to how long the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan will be able to withstand his attack on their longstanding fiefdom called Bollywood. The way Ranbir kapoor’s graph is going up, he is expected to lord over the three Khans and the rest of the stars in the film industry given his youth, acting skills and his increasing popularity among his fan base across the country.

In the meantime his latest film Besharam has broken his previous first day box office record set by his last launch Ye Jawani Hai Deewani that had collected Rs 19.45 crore at the box office on its opening day. His new film Besharam has collected as much as 21.50 crore on its opening day at the box office. Some reports suggest that this is the second highest day one box office grossing. The top spot is occupied by Shah Rukh Khan’s top film Chennai Express that collected more than Rs 33 crore at the box office.

Given the fact that the film was launched on Gandhi Jayanti seems to have played its role in its high collection. Another thing that helped it was the fact that it was launched in as many as 3600 screens also helped it manage so high collections. The film also has Ranbir Kapoor’s parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor in prominent roles.
