Nahan: After a long hectic activities BJP has appointed Baldeav Tomar (39), who also hold the post of state vice president of Kissan Morcha as the new district president. Although the name of the Tomar was decided for the coveted post of the party but the formal election was to be conducted. At Paonta Sahib the appointment of the Tomar was announced. Though the party was divided in two camps in this organizational polls but party tried to follow the discipline in the election of the district president as Tomar was elected as the district president unanimously. Â Reacting on the appointment District BJP Chief Baldeav Tomar said that the strengthening of the party would be his priority. The new BJP chief had lost the last assembly polls badly but he remained active during the past two years. Â BJP has also tried to give the representation to young blood in the organizational poll. On the other hand Mrs. Partibha Kaushik, chairman state cooperative bank Chander Mohan Thakur, outgoing district president of the BJP Baldeav Bhandari, Balbir Chauhan, Nareash Khapada and Heera Singh Thakur as the district delegates who would play a key role in the election of the state president of the party.
