Lex McAllister death shocks ‘The Bachelor’ fans: cause of death suicide, drug overdose
‘Bachelor’ Season 14 contestant Lex McAllister has reportedly died and latest reports suggest that cause of her death was suicide. She was 32.
The news of her death was broken by the entertainment and gossip site TMZ.
Another report in the RadarOnline said that the reality star died of bipolar disorder. Bipolar disorder that is also known as bipolar affective disorder or manic depression, is a mental disorder characterized by periods of elevated mood and periods of depression. The elevated mood is significant and is known as mania or hypomania depending on the severity or whether there is psychosis.
In the meantime a friend confirms that the reality starlet had been coping with bipolar disorder. It has been learnt that Lex McAllisterâ€”an alumni from Jake Pavelkaâ€˜s season of The Bachelorâ€”has passed away after attempting to take her own life.
Reports suggest that the 31-year-old was discovered following a pill overdose on Saturday, and taken to a local Ohio hospital, family members confirmed to Radar. After her organs began to fail, her loved ones decided to take her off life support.
â€œItâ€™s true,â€ Jesse Csincsak, a friend of the blond beauty and a former Bachelorette contestant, exclusively told Radar. â€œI got the call last night from her cousin.â€ According to Csincsak,
McAllister was battling with a major illness. â€œShe suffered from a bipolar disorder and did a good job of hiding it,â€ he explained. â€œMost of the people who were close to her didnâ€™t know because she hid it well.â€
