Chandigarh: Azad Kanooni Shikanja had been publishing it’s monthly crime journal since two years. Today a weekly newspaper was launched under the same name “Azad Kanooni Shikanja”. The weekly newspaper was launched by Mr. Niranjan Singh (Retd. IAS), Chairman, SC/BC Commission, Punjab at Hotel Paras, Dera Bassi. Other prominent personalities who were present at the occasion were Mr. Kuljit Singh Randhawa, President, Punjab Panchayat  Parishad, Mr. H.S Nirman, Harjeet Nagpal, Navneet Pannu, Chairperson, Human Rights Commission, Punjab, Amarjeet Singh, Retd. Joint Director, State Transport, Bunny Sandhu. On this occasion, the Chief Editor of the weekly newspaper, while addressing the guests, stressed on honest journalism. He also mentioned that not even a single edition of the crime journal “Azad Kanooni Shikanja” was missed and promised the readers that the weekly newspaper launched today will also keep it’s pace the same way. Mr. Dhammi Sharma, Bureau Chief, Azad Kanooni Shikanja, Haryana thanked all the prominent guests as well as the reporters for their moral support.
