Apple watchOS 2 latest news update: Will it make Apple Watches all the more desirable?
Cupertino based Apple has finally launched watchOS 2 for Apple Watch. The update seems to be a huge improvement and comes with many native apps. If analysts are to be believed, the latest Apple watchOS 2 is going to make Apple Watches all the more desired.
People were a bit disappointed with last minute delay in the launch of the new watchOS 2. Nonetheless Apple later clarified that the delay was actually caused following the discovery of a critical bug.
One of the biggest and most important aspect of the new OS is the fact that software update actually gives users access to native third-party apps, a new Time Travel function, custom photo watch faces, nightstand mode, and more.
So if you are among the many people who are already using Apple watches, you qualify for the latest software upgrade. By the way it is not very difficult and you can do so very easily. The update can be downloaded by opening the Apple Watch iPhone app, navigating to the General menu and then selecting Software Update. The new version should install wirelessly.
Nonetheless the tech giant warns people that that an iPhone should be connected to Wi-Fi, and that a Watch should be both connected to its charger and have at least 50 percent battery power.
Another important improvement that comes with the latest update is the fact that a new feature nightstand mode has been introduced with it. Nightstand mode will actually allow the Watch face to be viewed on its side for charging. When resting like this, the Digital Crown and side button can be used to snooze and end an alarm in the morning.
