Apple iOS 9 update issues haunt many: iPhone, iPad software update frustrating
When Apple introduced its latest mobile software iOS 9, many people thought that the latest update will make their lives easier. They took the Cupertino based tech giantâ€™s assertion of substantial improvement on face value and rushed to update their expensive gadgets to the latest operating system update.
Now the people who actually updated their pricey iPhones and iPads with the latest software updates are ruing as to why they rushed into doing something that will ruin their lives. Latest reports suggest many issues that the update has caused into the very costly handsets and tablets.
The Cupertino based tech giant had said that the new iOS 9 update will improve the battery life of the devices and a new Siri interface.
Latest reports suggest that a large number of iPhone and iPad users who actually updated their devices are reporting on Twitter and other online forums that apps on their mobile devices are crashing when they update the operating system to iOS 9. iOS 9, the latest version of Apple’s software for iPhones and iPads, rolled out to consumers on Wednesday.
This is not new thing and last yearâ€™s updates too had caused many issues that a long time to rectify. Apple’s iOS 8 update last year created buggy Wi-Fi and decreased battery life. Users were disenchanted asÂ later updates to fix the software ended up creating their own problems.
While talking about the issue Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster says, â€œThe big picture here though is that this is the standard environment for a new operating system launchâ€¦There are always going to be a spectrum of bugs but they should be solved within a few days.â€
