AMU student gets berth in Armed Forces’ Medical College

ALIGARH : Devesh Kumar Sharma, a Class XII pass out of the Saiyyid Hamid Senior Secondary School, Aligarh Muslim University has qualified for admission to MBBS course in the prestigious Armed Forces’ Medical College, Pune.

Expressing happiness on Devesh’s success, Principal of the School, Maj. S. M. Mustafa said that “it was a proud moment not only for the parents, but also for peers and teachers of the school”. He said that Devesh had made hard labour to achieve this goal and his remarkable success will provide as an encouragement to other students to prepare for such challenging examinations.

Majo. Mustafa said that two students of his school have made their way to National Defense Academy examination while several other students have qualified the prestigious Engineering, Medical and BALLB entrance examinations in AMU, IITs and elsewhere in the country.

Maj. Mustafa pointed out that his priority was to provide the students with best academic and residential facilities and special focus had been given on improving the games and sports facilities in the school.
