ALIGARH: The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah has constituted a time bound three member inquiry committee under the chairmanship of Justice (Retd.) Imtiayaz Murtaza, Former Judge, Allahabad High Court to analyze MBBS Admission Test results 2015-16.

The other members are Prof. Mohd. Miyan, Former Vice Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad and Prof. Faizan Mustafa, Vice Chancellor, NALSAR National Law University, Hyderabad.

The above enquiry will ascertain “if proper procedure were followed in the conduct of the admission test”. It would also probe the entire sequence of the events, which took place at the Kozhikode Centre on April 26, when the All India competition was held at eleven centres in different parts of the country and fix the responsibility for lapses, if any.

The Inquiry Committee is required to submit its report by June 20, 2015.

Earlier on May 28, the Executive Council in its special meeting had authorized the Vice Chancellor to constitute enquiry committee under the chairmanship of a retired judge.
