AMU International Placement Drive: Dubai based MNC to hire AMU students
Aligarh, July 14: In another International job placement drive, FAISAL JASEEM Corporation, a leading Dubai based MNC visited Aligarh Muslim University to hire university students for the posts of Application Engineers. AMU Training and Placement Office (General) organized the placement drive.
The Campus placement was a free recruitment drive and an initiative of the Training & Placement office (General) and the Alumni of the university. The Training and Placement Office confirmed that the visiting FAISAL JASEEM Corporation team to hire AMU students comprised of Middle East based AMU Alumni.
Pointing out that this is fourth international campus drive in the past few months, the TPO (General) Mr Saad Hameed said that the efforts of the Vice chancellor Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (Retd) and Pro Vice Chancellor Brigadier Ahmad Ali (Retd), to build the AMU- Alumni connect is reaping results.
Ã¢â‚¬Å“The doors of the much awaited International placements are open for AMU students,Ã¢â‚¬ said Mr Hameed. He added that in these jobs offers global exposure and great careers will come with attractive pay packages.
While adding that Alumni is the biggest asset of any university, Mr Hameed said that the AMU administration is trying to bridge the gap between AMU and itÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Alumni. Ã¢â‚¬Å“The gap in between AMU Alumni and AMU which was there in previous years has been bridged by the present administration under Vice Chancellor General Shah and Pro Vice Chancellor Brigadier Ali,Ã¢â‚¬ said Mr Hameed.
Mr Hameed said that the Training and Placement Office (General) is also playing the role of a facilitator and a contact point for the Alumni to execute the placement activities for the students of the university.
The students participated in large numbers despite of the fact that the university is closed and the hostels are vacant, said Mr Hameed. He added that the way students have turned up for the interviews with the FAISAL JASEEM Corporation recruiters shows that they are very sincere about their placements.
Meanwhile, the FAISAL JASEEM Corporation officials on their visit to AMU have appreciated talented AMU students whom they have interviewed and congratulated TPO (General), Mr Hameed for organizing the campus drive effectively in this odd time of the session. The results will be declared in a week, said the company representative.
