AMU Ex-student attends international summit

ALIGARH: Mr Ahmad Tabish, a former engineering graduate of Department of Chemical Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University attended the International Student Energy Summit (ISES) 2015, which was recently held at Bali, Indonesia.

Mr Tabish also co-chaired a session on “Emerging Asia” which dealt with the challenges in climate change because of the growing economies of Asian nations. Mr Tabish had an interaction with the Vice President of Indonesia and Chief Operating Officer of World Bank.

Mr Tabish’s visit was supported and funded by Mr. Badshah Khan, President, AMU Alumni Association Riyadh Chapter and the Research Organisation “Student Energy”, in association with leading oil companies around the world.

Earlier, Mr Tabish has been a part of Indian delegation at Power Shift Summit 2013 held at Melbourne, Australia and was awarded the young undergraduate researcher award by Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in 2013.
