The biggest online retailer in the world, Amazon has made a massive network in India and has challenged a sort of free run of biggest local retailing giant Flipkart. It comes with a new adaptive front light that automatically adjusts the brightness of the display based on the surrounding light along with the PagePress feature, a new way to turn pages

Besides, the new e-reader arrives in the market with a new origami-style cover design based on the origami covers of Amazon’s Fire tablets providing a stand for both portrait and landscape positions. Meanwhile, the device retains some of the popular features found in last gen Kindles like Whispersync, Smart Lookup, Vocabulary Builder among others.

Earlier Amazon India announced a discount of up to 70 per cent on over 100 Kindle eBooks across genres, starting from March 24 to April 13, 2015. It also announced additional payment options for purchases on the India Kindle Store using local credit cards, debit cards, net banking and gift cards.
