Alabama vs. Texas A&M 2013 final result would have looked one-sided. Johnny Manziel stats & highlights
Johnny Manziel has caught the imagination of the whole nation. The way he played in the last match was simply incredible and seeing his performance improve in every other match we can safely infer that he is destined to reach the heights no one among his peers may ever reach. His dedication to his game is unprecedented and the way he uses his mind in the heat of the action is incredible and almost unbelievable.
Though he has proved his mettle on many occasions in the past, but to see it by our own eyes in such an important match was mesmerizing. Without doubt he almost, I must repeat almost changed the course of the game with his superlative performance during Alabama vs. Texas A&M match. But what is more disappointing is the fact that despite his superlative performance he was still unable to ensure the success of his side. Many of his fans were simply heartbroken and felt for him. Even members of the other teams were full of praise for him.
Alabama without doubt must be feeling over the moon for warding off such a huge threat and still be able to win. Alabama were miraculously able to holds off Johnny Manziel and beat Texas A&M for 49-42, a win that many said was not possible at all. Nut things don’t really go as we or anyone else say or claim before any match, inside the field everything is dictated by the fact as to how teams play. And yesterday without doubt Alabama were the better side who played scintillating game never allowing the opponents to take the game back in their favour.
There is no doubt that the without Johnny Manziel the match should have gone Alabama way without much of a struggle. The match at one point looked set to go in favour of Texas AM as John Manziel was in full flow, but then top-ranked Alabama battled back, disrupting his rhythm at times and intercepting two of his passes. But this was also no reason for him to give up and he continued his attack. He finally managed to send one last charge through the stadium with a 95-yard touchdown pass to close A&M’s deficit to seven points in the fourth quarter, but the rally fell short. But apparently this was not enough for his side to actually catch up with Alabama who were well ahead of Texas AM. The 49-42 win was historic in the sense that it was seen by as many as 87,596 spectators.
