Set against the backdrop of ‘Delhi’, the city of politics, the film caters to theme of injustice and rising fist power in the city. Directed by Anthony D’souza, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, Shiv Pandit, Aditi Rao Hydari along with Danny Denzongpa, Ronit Roy, Johny Lever.

Termed as a blockbuster by the bollywood insiders even before its release, Akshay will kick start the festive season by bashing up the bad boys of the town. The film has some chart buster songs that are composed by array of music directors and a special party song by YoYo Honey Singh.

In the film Akshay Kumar  plays a kind hearted gangster, apparently known as Boss while Mithun Chakraborty will enact the role of his father. Shiv Pandit will enact the role of Akshay Kumar’s younger brother and Aditi Rao Hydari is paired opposite him. Danny Denzongpa will play the mentor to Boss and Ronit Roy will play a ruthless police officer against Boss

Recently during a shooting sequence in Delhi, the crew members had a tough time in keeping the onlookers at bay. Realising the trouble Akshay decided to do his own bit for controlling the crowd.  A source said: “The shootings were happening all day long and thousands had gathered to witness him (Akshay) in action. Even 100-odd private security personnel and several policemen couldn’t control the crowd. Akshay then had to wave to the audience and request them to calm down.”
