ABVP leads in Sirmour SCA polls

nhn-cogNahan: The student front ABVP has took the lead on other student front SFI and NSUI in six colleges of the district in SCA polls the result of which was declare this evening. However NSUI and SFI performed well in the largest college Nahan of the district. NSUI, SFI and Hatti student front had joined the hands to defeat the ABVP in degree college Paonta Sahib by forming a joint front but ABVP was succeeded in capturing two top posts. ABVP failed to capture even one seat in Nahan College but succeeded in winning five post of the president in other colleges.
Mr. Om Parkash of NSUI defeated his nearest rival Ishan Khan of ABVP with a little margin of 14 votes on president post in Nahan College. However Vivek Thakur, Ravish Bhardwaj and Aarti of SFI were elected on the post vice president, secretary and joint secretary respectively. In Shillai College there was a tie between NSUI and ABVP candidate for the post of joint secretary but the fate was in the favor of Neetu.nhn-co
