pharmaShimla: Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Health Minister said that there were more than 700 pharmaceutical industries in Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand and the credit for this goes to former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee who provided industrial packages to these States on the request of Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister in 2002. He was speaking on the inaugural of day long workshop organized by Federation of Pharma Entrepreneurs at Dehradun today.
The Health Minister said that the industrial package helped both the State in bringing industrial revolution and today 30 percent demand of phrama produce of the country was being catered by these two States only.
