The best smartphone in the market Samsung Galaxy S4 sales have gone through the roof and reports suggest that Sammy has already sold 20 million units of the handset
Samsung’s flagship Android phone the Galaxy S4 is selling wonderfully in world markets. Recent reports suggest that the Korean tech firm has sold over 20 million units of Galaxy S4 by the end of June 2013. The device was sold in 10 million units by May, meaning that sales of the gadget have been continuing without any slowdown since its release.
With huge sales, Galaxy S4 has become the world’s fast-selling Android phone ever. Its predecessor the Galaxy S III wanted around 100 days to get 20 million customers, and so the Galaxy S4 is indeed selling 1.7 times faster. It has put the device at top position in shipment for Q2 this year.
It is expected that Samsung will ship around 80 million units of Galaxy S4 by the end of the year. The Galaxy S III was sold in 60 million units last year and so if the rumor is true, it might be a record-breaking show. Of course, since its release the high-end, feature-rich smartphone has been showing the tendency of big success.
Recently, Samsung has also released a revamped version of the Galaxy S4 with 4G LTE-A connectivity and Snapdragon 800 chip. The LTE-Advanced is able to provide cellular data connectivity several times better than the regular LTE. So far, the device has been announced for Japan and it is hoped that it would soon get worldwide release.
By the way, as per many reviews and surveys, the Galaxy S4 is arguably the best Android phone ever. Apart from huge sales, its functionality and usability have made the handset a brilliant one and it competes well with the likes of Sony Xperia Z, HTC One and other high-end smartphones from a line of tech developers including the small-time ones too.
