Nokia’s famous Asha line of featurephone gets a wonderful new addition called the Asha 210. What is special with the handset is that it boasts a QWERTY keypad and is coming up in single SIM and dual SIM flavors. It is extremely attractive with a variety of body colors that include yellow, cyan, black, magenta, and white. It has a nice price tag of only $72 that will make it affordable to all budget conscious customers out there.

Well, the new Nokia Asha, which combines a 2.4-inch LCD screen of QVGA resolution with a four-row QWERTY keypad, is mainly aimed at the budget-alert young customers. Though missing 3G, Asha 210 has Wi-Fi connectivity, and in help of it, users can surf web faster. It is great to know that the device boasts a dedicated WhatsApp button that will give users easy access to the instant message app, which comes preloaded.

It features a 3.5mm audio jack for getting better audio output. Unfortunately, the phone has only 64MB of internal memory, while it boasts microSD slot that can support external memory sticks up to 32GB capacity.
The device’s camera is smart and it works quite nicely. It offers a variety of image capture, editing and social sharing features that include self-portraits and fast editing facility. Though lacking a front camera, the rear one is perfectly centered and is ideal for self portraits “The built-in voice guides the user to ensure they are in the frame, before taking the shot,” says Nokia. It also features a finest camera app for easy sharing of the captured images on social media sites.
As per Nokia, the dual-SIM version of Asha 210 will come with the support for Easy Swap, which means you can swap over to the secondary SIM card without turning the phone off. “The new device also takes full advantage of the Nokia Xpress Browser which uses Nokia’s cloud technology to reduce data consumption by up to 90 percent, helping people enjoy more affordable Internet access,” says Nokia in its press release.
Further, the handset features Nokia Nearby, a web app that will help users find points of interest like ATMs, restaurants, shopping centers, and more. It also has preloaded YouTube launcher for letting users enjoy direct video streaming. Its chat screen notifications will bring up-to-date information to users. It has greater battery life also, which Nokia offers up to 46 days with single SIM and up to 24 days with dual SIM versions.
Nokia is to about to take this handset to leading emerging markets quite sooner. It will come out in a number of stunning colors, which indeed grant a good attraction for the device.
