Micromax is hogging limelight like never before. It is set to unveil its latest Android smart-phone/ phablet probably today and the excitement in the air suggests that it is going to be a super hit in the market. It is probably the first time in the history of smart-phones in India that a local mobile vendor’s smart-phone is getting this much attention in the market. Otherwise the huge media build-up prior to the launch of Micromax A116 HD was confined to Apple and Samsung handsets that rule the smart-phone markets across the world.

But Micromax’s A116 Canvas HD seems to have got the imagination of the masses and the company is doing everything to further the buzz. In order to achieve this goal and get more people hooked to its handset the company has released a promotional video for A116 Canvas HD. The promotional video showcases the strengths of the handset that is going to face a tough opponent in the form of Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy Grand. But thanks to very good pricing strategy by pricing the handset at just Rs 13990, Micromax seems to have got a head-start over its competitor.

Meanwhile a report says that the handset that is set to make its appearance in the showrooms later today is already sold out. Though we failed to verify the report by Tech2 from Micromax, nonetheless there are every chance that the same is going to happen within no time after its launch.
