Now it has been finally proved that Richard III skeleton discovery was true and DNA proves that it was King of England’s skeleton (picture, video)
The whole world seems to be talking about Richard III, the king of England who passed away around 500 years ago. Though many people are trying to make the whole affair suspicious, the DNA has soundly proven the skeleton to be that of Richard III.
Though, to be true, the search for his body or rather skeleton had never stopped, but no one had any idea if it would be ever discovered and that too in such a good shape. The remains are now surely those belonging to the King who died while fighting in that Battle of Bosworth that reportedly took place in the year 1485
Even the memorial society that is thought to be the custodian of information related to the brave king, Richard III Society has accepted the fact that the skeleton found in the car parking lot in Leicester was that of the King. But it is certainly a mystery as to how the King’s skeleton remained undiscovered for so long. Reports coming from the Society suggest that it will be releasing a facial reconstruction of the monarch probably tomorrow. The image is based on a CT scan by top experts at University of Leicester, who luckily found the remains while digging the place late last year.
Reports suggest that DNA tests that took place at the University labs over the skeleton, had a curved spine that other reports suggest match with two of his living descendants. Philippa Langley who was among the people responsible for digging the remnants of the King says, “It was a hot summer and I had goosebumps so badly and I was freezing cold. I walked past a particular spot and absolutely knew I was walking on his grave…I am a rational human being but the feeling I got was the same feeling I have had before when a truth is given to me…On a subsequent visit, I found a little white ‘R’ painted on the exact same spot. Of course it was ‘R’ for ‘reserved’, not ‘R’ for Richard but from that moment on, I was on a mission”. The King’s war was very historic also given the fact that his side was badly defeated by Henry Tudor.
