Caleb Moore death is being mourned across the world. The young and very ambitious snowmobile rider is no more after struggling against the death for around a week. He was injured badly in his chest and head during the X Games 2013 this past week and since then was under intensive care unit in a top hospital in Grand Junction.
For many of his fans across the world, the death has come as an utter shock. They were all expecting and praying for his recovery and doctors were also giving hope that the daredevil snowmobile rider may survive given his determination. But the Almighty had different plan for the young man who was admired by his fans and even competitors.
At a young age of just 25 years, he has already won four major medals at the X Games sponsored by ESPN. People in Krum, near Dallas are very disturbed by his death as it was the place where he learnt the nuances of the game and hones his skills that he succeeded winning not one but four medals. A report says that instead of learning to drive his snowmobile on actual snow he learnt to manoeuvre his heavy snowmobile through tricks like launching it into foam pits. To be true, he started participating in the Winter X Games as early as 2010 and made the mark immediately by winning a medal.
Though it is a bit old, his short biography on ESPN, the sponsors of the game is all praise for him and his latent talent in the game. “After two years at Winter X, Caleb Moore has gone from “beginner’s luck” to “serious threat.” This ATV freestyler from Texas has more snowmobile practice under his belt this year than either of his first two years before WX — and he already has three WX medals: two bronze and one silver. He looks to complete the color collection in 2012, and the creative rider could do it in either Freestyle or Best Trick”, says the biography. He was destined for higher accomplishments, but alas the nature had different plan.
