Reports suggest that Cupertino- based Apple’s 27-inch iMac production has slowed down due to LG Display problems
Apple’s woes are not going to end anytime soon, or it seems. The biggest technology company is facing numerous issues right now and there doesn’t seem to be any end to its woes. Its stocks are going down and down and a company whose shares were expected to touch at least $900 per share by the end of the year are down to around $520. At one time in September 2012, Apple stocks had breached $700 mark and no one had anticipated that Apple was going to take such humiliating beating within months and its stocks would come to such lows.
If Apple’s woes with its highest selling devices, iPhone were not enough to see its stocks down, there are more issue that the Cupertino based company is facing right now. Latest reports indicate to more problems that the company is facing with its products. New reports indicate that the tech behemoth is facing some production issues as far as its 27-inch iMacs are concerned. Earlier the company used to ship 27-inch iMacs within days after being ordered, but now the product is showing 3-4 weeks waiting time.
A DigiTimes report that keep the tab on everything happening with Apple’s partners in China and Taiwan besides other places says that the issue is caused by the fact that Apple’s part supplier South Korean company G Display is facing problems in the mass production of the 27-inch iMac. The Digitimes report suggest that the production of 27 inch iMac display is caused by full lamination issues when producing the panels for this huge product.
