This must be a welcome news for many Apple fans. YouTube iOS App update has finally arrived for new iPad 4, iPad Mini and iPhone 5

Finally this must come as sweet music to many as YouTube iOS App has been optimized for Apple tablets iPad and iPad Mini besides the recently introduced iPhone 5. So far the YouTube experience on these platforms was not as good as it ought to be, but thankfully after the recent updates things are going to be a lot better for YouTube fans.

The latest updates are part of the original app launched merely two months ago. Many people had complained to both YouTube and Google about the uncomfortable experience they were having on the biggest video platform. Youtube is so popular among internet users that its latest Alexa rank puts it very close to Google and Facebook in its popularity.

YouTube’s popularity can be gauged from the fact that more than thirty three percent internet users access this video hosting site very regularly. Alexa.Com ranks YouTube as the third most popular website on internet closely behind Google and Facebook who are ranked first and second respectively.

The latest updates make the Youtube experience all the more memorable for iPad and iPhone users. The updates also includes besides other things, the ability of a user to tap a logo and open his/ her guide of channels. It will also make it possible for you to add and remove videos from your playlists, and clickable links in video descriptions. So this is going to make things easy and manageable.

Google while detailing the latest update on its blog says, “You love watching YouTube on the go — in fact — more than 25 percent of all YouTube watching happens on mobile. This past September, you got the YouTube app for iPhone and iPod touch to make it easier to find and share the videos and channels you love on YouTube, and you made us the number one free app in the App Store for two months. Since then, we’ve been hard at work to improve the app based on your feedback”.

It goes on to add, “Just in time for the holidays, now you can download or update the YouTube app with a look designed for the iPad and iPhone 5, enhanced AirPlay support, videos that start faster and play more smoothly, and improved accessibility with VoiceOver. Enjoy Tastemade on iPad in full screen glory, or hours of flipping through Ryan Higa videos on your iPhone 5 or iPod touch”.
