After a long wait, Samsung Galaxy Camera release has finally materialized. Here are price, specs and availability details
Samsung’s Android-based Galaxy Camera has propped up in India. The 3G and Wi-Fi enabled connected camera is up grabs for Rs. 29,900. It doesn’t come up to be the first similar digital camera in India, though. Nikon has earlier surfaced an Android camera with the conventional point-and-shoot form factor, dubbed the Coolpix S800c. It looks that the Samsung Android camera will be a nice option for photography and Android fans alike. The Jelly Bean-handset supports all the functions of a smartphone except for the calling feature.

Camera Credentials: The Samsung digital camera features a 17MP BSI CMOS sensor with a superb 21x optical and digital zooming capability. It offers a focal length of 4.1mm to 86.1mm and it shows off an f2.8 aperture. Using the camera, you can capture stills at ISO 100 to 3200. You can record movies in 1080p@30fps at the same time.

Flipkart sells the device for the same price, but with a 16GB SanDisk MicroSDHC memory card for free. The vendor ships the device in eight to 10 days. The camera in question is also available for preorder from eBay.
