You know it is holiday season and it is time for retailers to offer big discounts to get people shopping. Previously WalMart, Target, and others had revealed their Thanksgiving weekend deals. Now it is Best Buy’s turn. Best Buy has taken a different approach to most, with the online retailer releasing only a ‘preview’ of it complete set of deals.
The 22 page preview features among other deals, a Toshiba 40 inch HDTV for $179.99, a 15.6 inch Samsung laptop for $349.99 and an exclusive white colour Galaxy Tab 2 for $179.99. Bundled with the tablet is a Best Buy gift card worth $20. Best Buy is also offering Motorola Droid Razr HD Maxx for free with a 2 year Verizon contract.
Doorbuster deals, which will kick in when the doors to Best Buy physical stores are opened at 12 a.m on Friday are an assorted bunch. There is the Sony PlayStation 3 with 250GB storage for $199.99, a coffee maker with cups for just $7.99 and canon power shot camera for just $79.99. It comes with camera case and free memory card. Also the Samsung GS3 with a 2 year contract with Sprint is available for just $48.
A 15.6-inch Lenovo laptop which has an AMD processor, 2GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive is available for $187.99; a 14-inch Asus notebook equipped with an Intel Pentium CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 320G hard drive comes for $249.99; and a Dell desktop with an Intel Core i5 processor with a 20-inch LED-backlight monitor is going for $499.98.
Apart from the Doorbuster deals there is also those available which do not require you to burst open the door. Among them there is the 11.6-inch Asus laptop for $449.99, and a 14-inch HP Envy laptop with an Intel Core i7 processor for $629.99. A desktop bundle with a Core i3 HP desktop and 20-inch monitor is available for $429.98, while a Gateway 20-inch all-in-one system is going for $389.99 and a 23-inch Lenovo touchscreen all-in-one is for $599.99. then there is the monitor-less option; an HP desktop with Core i3 CPU, 6GB of memory, and 1TB hard drive for $349.99.
