The Finnish company showcased the phone with some marvelous features. If you have to enjoy Windows Phone 8 at its best, Lumia 920 seems to be one of the best options. It can also ward off re-establish Nokia’s authority as a key Windows Phone maker over other handsets from Samsung, HTC and more. The feature rich Lumia 920 will attract millions of customers to go for it in the days to come. Here are some top features

PureMotion HD+ Display: The Lumia 900 successor touts an innovative PureMotion HD+ display. It is the next level technology of ClearBlack display that comes up with better outdoor clarity. Thanks to the new PureMotion HD+, the phone offers great sunlight viewability. It can automatically adjust to sunlight glare, and so outdoor visibility will be far better than any top-notch phones out in stores.

In addition, the new display technology offers super smooth scrolling through great pixel translation speeds, which is around 2.5x better than other phones. The touchscreen is friendly for your fingertips, fingernails and even fingers that are wrapped with some glove. That is, you can even operate the display well in winter without taking your palm out of gloves or fixing something on the gloves.

Nokia Maps: Nokia has a rich web mapping service for Lumia 920. It will come with lots of nice features like a better GPS navigation and offline maps. The much-touted Nokia Maps Drive on Lumia 900 has been one of the best apps of its kind. The new Lumia is to sport an advanced version of the GPS service. You can drive into your pursuits with no hesitation of losing the way. Nokia Maps offline is yet another great thing; it comes with a better and free turn-by-turn navigation and many other special things.

PureView Camera: It is one of the most-hyped features of Lumia 920. The Finnish mobile firm shows off the new Lumia’s PureView-branded 8MP rear camera. PureView technology doesn’t mean that the device will have a 41MP rear camera as it is on Nokia PureView 808. Instead Nokia has developed PureView as a brand for mobile cameras that highlight several core capabilities like Carl Zeiss optics, great image processing algorithms, low light performance and more. You can also enjoy most advanced camera features of a phone on the handset.

Windows Phone 8: The handset is customized to run Windows Phone 8, the latest update to Microsoft’s famous mobile operating system. The company is about to avail the firmware for public with a set of phones from Samsung, HTC and Nokia ready for release. WP 8 comes with many gorgeous features that include a new Metro-style interface with Live Tiles, better social media integration for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, good voice-based web search and more.

Nokia Music: It is a fresh music service for Lumia handsets. Nokia recently launched the app for extending musical experience of its users from Zune Pass and other subscription-based services. The app puts forward many exciting things for the hardcore music fans.

Qi Wireless Charging: Perhaps, it might be one of the sweeping features of the Lumia 920. The capability for wireless charging in help of a Qi charging pad is the thing that will distinguish the phone from other Windows Phone 8 devices. Many analysts have appreciated the particular feature since it is a new thing on a mainstream handset. Other developers may also come with similar features in future.

Multiple Colors: Nokia gives much emphasis for colors. Most of its Lumia handsets are available in numerous eye-catching colors. The company has utilized the coloration strategy for Lumia 920 as well. It will also come in bright colors like red and yellow.
