England rocked by Harbhajan and Pathan

Though it is a match of no consequence, but the two sides are taking it very seriously indeed. In today’s match India scored 171. Meanwhile England were rocked by Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan who scalped four and two wickets respectively

Sharma was the highest scorer today who hammered English bowlers and didn’t spare anyone. He scored 55 runs off just 33 balls, while Gautam Gambhir scored 45 runs and in form man Virat Kohli scored 40 runs off just 32 balls.

India scored 170 for four against England in a Group A encounter of the World Twenty20 Championships at the R. Premadasa Stadium here Sunday.

Rohit Sharma top scored with 55 off 33 balls while Steve Finn took two wickets and Graeme Swann and Jade Dernbach a wicket apiece.
