UAE charity provides meals to 28,000 Palestinians

Gaza, Aug 14 (IANS/WAM) A UAE charity has provided Iftar meals to 28,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation distributed the meals in cooperation with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

More than half of the Gaza population is dependent on international agencies for food.
