He wants to be focussed and motivated and for that he needs bigger goals. Usain Bolt long jump is just to keep him motivated (video)

Usain Bolt has something or the other to keep people guessing. After losing out to his fellow Jamaican sprinter in Olympic trial just over a month ago, the Bolt again proved his detractors wrong during the London Olympics, when he defended his crown by winning gold in both 100 and 200m shoot-out.

To be true, his wins are as enticing as his style of doing. Two days ago when he won the 200 meter race, he not just deflated the attack against him by his detractors, but also asked them to shut up by putting his finger on his mouth even before he completed the race.

Many long-time sprinting watchers say that the it was something never seen before and this shows that the man who won the 200 meter race leaving behind his nearest rival by a long margin was actually not running at his maximum speed. To be true, we all know that 25-year old continues to accelerate even when all the top players are at their best speed.

Now the sprinter is going to give people more reasons to rejoice and enjoy his presence. He has shown interest in long jumping and there are signs that he may give it a try in the next Olympics. He himself indicated that he can go for long jump just to keep him motivated.”I think there’s a possibility…But you can never really say it, because it’s a relay and there’s a baton. You never know. But for me, we’re going to go out, enjoy ourselves, run fast as possible. It would be a good way to close the show again”, says the fastest sprinter the world has produced.

In the meantime, Usain Bolt has trashed the rumors of his retirement suggesting that he is in for Rio Olympic in the year 2016. White talking about winning the 100m and 200m in the year 2015, he said, “I think it’s going to be a hard mission…Both these guys are 22. They are going to be 26, I’m going to be 30…Both these guys are running extremely well right now. I think I’ve had my time. It’s going to be hard. In life everything is possible, but for me this is going to be a hard reach because there’s going to be a lot more talent coming up and these guys have really stepped up already”. On the other hand there are also reports that the Jamaican sprinter is also exploring other options including trying soccer with Manchester United.
