Stop Muslim Genocide in Assam: An open letter to Indian Prime Minister

Sir,

Sub: Stop Muslim Genocide in the State of Assam in India – Restore the right to life of Muslims in Assam – Reg.

Civil Liberties Monitoring Committee, express deep concern over the massacre of Bengali speaking Muslims in the State of Assam. It is alarming to note that Lakhs of Muslims are languishing in the relief camps, without any basic amenities. The Chief Minister of Assam did not take any measures even after the violence spread rapidly and negligence on his part is highly condemnable. Actually is a criminal negligence and he completely failed to fulfill his responsibility to protect the life and liberty of Muslim minorities. Even after all this massacre, CM gives statement that Assam is not burning, which itself shows that CM is not sincere towards the citizens of his state to control situation and solve this problem. This committee feels that Assam is indeed burning and  the situation is volatile. The conditions may turn likewise 1980’s situation, where thousands of Muslims were killed for which there was no official inquiry.

As a representative of Assam in the Parliament, and as the Prime Minister of India, you can better understand the ground reality of Assam. At present whatever is happening at Assam’s Bodo land is not a new thing, this state has a long history of communal violence because of the regional movements. It is a matter of fact that Hindutva Fascists forces captured these movements and spreading their tentacles in this state; thus, dividing Muslims and Non-Muslims with the false propaganda by stating Bengali Muslims as Bangladeshi immigrants. As you are well aware that, these Bengali Muslims were brought to this state by the Britishers decades back for the purpose of Plantation work.

In this particular incident at the Bodo land territory of Assam, Muslims are living under threat and fear. Due to their identity as Muslims in this region, the whole violence is politically motivated because of BJP’s Hindutva politics. This party wants to come to power by carrying hatred propaganda and communalizing situation. One more thing most important is that former Bodo militants who are well trained and are now in the ruling class and are carrying their sophisticated weapons still. They are now using these weapons against the Muslims.  RSS wings are working among the Bodos and spreading hatred among Bodos against Muslims.

One more important thing that we want to bring to your notice is that after the outburst of Hindutva terrorism and exposing of bomb blasts all over the country by them, again they are working on their agenda of communal violence. So that they can crush the Muslims. It is nothing but repetition of Gujarat experiment.

Therefore, under these circumstances, the whole responsibility lies upon you itself to protect and build confidence among those Muslims. People want you to act immediately and people wonder that your party is at the centre as well at the Assam state, why did another blot appear on india’s secular fabric. It is high time for you to think and act. Therefore, we demand the following:

1)      Stop Muslim genocide in Assam state of India

2)      Restore right to life of Muslims in India

3)      Make Chief Minister of Assam accountable and replace him.

4)      Present and Pass the communal and targeted violence bill 2011 in the parliament

5)      Stop hate propaganda against Muslims in India

6)      Curb the Hindutva fascist forces

7)      Protect the secular fabric of India.

8)      Disarm the Bodo Militant youth.

9)      Hateful propaganda against Muslims as Bangladeshi Muslims should stop and all the real facts about it kept before the people.

Civil Liberties Monitoring committee is eager to know what the Prime Minster of India has to say in this regard. And we would want you to act. And act decisively and unequivocally against this crime on humanity.

    Mr Writer, i am not from Assam, but i can sense the danger of muslim population growing like hell in Assam. Why am disturbed by the fact about Muslim population is because muslim is a religion of intolerence , killing etc and one day NE India will be engulfed with genocides everywhere.

    When i was small i never saw muslim population flaunting all those caps etc in Dibrugarh and tinsukiya towns but now you see, everywhere muslims can be seen flaunting caps, wearing burqas etc. Please 1stly educate your mass to family planning, stop breeding like pigs and dogs. Poverty is associated with muslims on the reason of mass production of children every year in a single family.

    Stop writing crap here. Bodos are in real danger…huh!

    Murder is a crime, whether its muslims, christians hindus or any other religion. now when u talk about islam as the religion of intolerance, killing & all, all u have to do is count the number of people killed by muslim and the number of people killed by christians…50 years back, there were so many nations in the globe which were ruled by britain, including India. How did they do this???Peace???I dont think so…r they muslims…What is the US doing these days? who is the one that have ever used a nuclear bomb and killed hundreds of thousands???Muslims???Is Hitler a muslim???     Now about family planning…u have to understand that poverty is not associated with the so called mass production u told…the fastest growing economies in the world are the most populous countries in the world – China & India…it is the corruption & unequal distribution of pie that are contributing to the poverty…So brother please stop spreading hatred…its not good to anyone…u watch that debate in youtube, u will have a better understanding of both the religions. take care bro..

    Congress is the only party to blame for the assam voilence. Ofcourse not all moslems in assam are bengalis, but most of them are . And they are there because of the policies of the congress . As long as the congress does not resolve the border issue with bangladesh and end the status quo, assam cannot be stabilized . I think we need to realize that religious war is only a consequence . The cause is the shortsightedness of the congress to not making tough decisions on making the border secure. For its short term poltical motives they have ruined assam

    The killing of hundreds of innocent Muslims is reported by the media. Thousands have lost there homes, their property looted and burnt down.
    No humane reason can justify this torture and targeted violence on a particular community.
    If you think that following of ones religion is the reason for the hatred, then you are a very narrow minded person, and people with a mentality like yours (of religious intolerance) is the real danger to the world community in general and the integrity of the country in particular.

    So I request to please avoid spreading hatred towards a particular community.

    @ Mr. Pritam…u said its ok to kill those bangladeshi muslims living in india..just think about it, what happens if people in other countries start doing the same thing…coz there are thousands and thousands of hindus of indian origin living in other countries…if they start killing all the hindus in their countries, just bcoz of the reason that they actually belong to india, how would you feel? would you be happy or u will fight against it?

    Now regarding Quran, have u ever read a Quran? coz if u did, u would never speak against it…All u have 2 do is read both the Hindu and Islamic scriptures by urself instead of listening to a few sentences of these scriptures from others…read both hindu scriptures and the quran completely and choose what ‘YOU’ think is best…Be rational while reading, if u find in any book, anything against humanity, u can stop reading that book…I can guarantee u, that the only book u complete reading will be ‘the Quran’…Now i really suggest u that b4 posting a reply, please read atleast 5 to 10 pages from these books…Thanx

    I am completely agree with John. Muslims are the most dangerous community not only for India but to the entire globe. They only know killings, murder, Bomb blast and Terrorist activity. All the Bangladeshi should be sent back to Bangladesh and we should seal the border. They come to India for job, Shelter food and than they become Indian Citizen by providing fake documents. I have seen many Bangladesh in Mumbai having “Aadhar” Card. How did they manage to get it & the Important question is “WHY” they need Indian Citizenship ID Card.

    I am again completely with John on Family planning. They manufacture 6-7 kids in a single family. & Hello Muslims are not hard working but they do all sort illegal activity to fullfil their daily needs. If you think India can not protect their rights and lives than why dont you guys go back to Pakistan, Bangladesh or Middle east.

    Bangladeshi comes to India & kills the son of the soul which is not tolerable. Why dont they go back to Bangladesh and live there.

    The BODO terrorists are not killing only muslims they killed thousands of Hindu Santhal Adhibasi tribes few years back.

    “This was a well designed game. The Bodos systematically targeted the Muslim settlers and started the ethnic cleansing. The Bodos did that with the Santhals, now with the Muslims and after that they will go after the mainstream Assamese,” said Kalita.

    The Bodo terrorist groups like BLT,NDFB are demanding seperate state and sometime even demand seperate Independent Country for Bodos and for fullfill their demand they have already killed 20,000 innocents in Assam and now as they are only 25 to 30% in their areas they are targeted non-bodo peoples and killed them or terroristed them to leave the BTAD area with a view to make themselves majority.
    So,play your Hindu muslim game in your own states not in Assam.
    Moreover this is for the inrmatimation of all that majority of Bodo peoples are now not Hindu,they are already converted to Christanity.

    here I am going to say -at 1st stop migration to Assam ,2ndly u r the nation for whom India had fought a war against Pakistan 3rdly ,if u don’t survive without us then why u get away from India u couldn’t join it at that time going with Pakistan .but now Ur for
