Apple’s next generation iPhone 5 will come with A5X processor, 1GB RAM, SGX543RC GPU and 4 inch retina display. But its release date is still months away

World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) has come and gone and the iPhone 5 release is still a pipedream. Many were expecting the Cupertino based tech giant to launch its next generation iPhone during the five day-long tech extravaganza, but Apple seems to have different plans for its products.

Though there was no certain plan for iPhone 5 launch during the WWDC, hardcore Apple fans were expecting a miraculous announcement from Cupertino based tech giant about it. But Apple launched several new and improved products including MacBook Pro 2012, MacBook Air, a slightly improved Mac Pro desktop, iOS 6 and Mountain Loin besides of course Apple Maps that will throw out Google Map from Apple devices.

The interest in new iPhone is very high due to several reasons. The most important thing about the forthcoming iPhone that has kept the level of interest high is its expected display size. It is going to get bigger by several notches. Several images of the forthcoming version of iPhone 5 have made splash across the world so far. Recently images allegedly showing the back of the next-generation iPhone have surfaced online, seemingly corroborating reports that the next-gen Apple phone will be larger and accommodate a more expansive screen.

Photos that first appeared on 9to5 Mac reveal that the iPhone 5 will be a taller device than the current-generation models. The blog suggest that the extra height of the smartphone indicates the fact that the forthcoming version will come with bigger screen than the existing 3.5 inch that came so far with every version of iPhone.

Meanwhile there are more leaks about the processor and the sort of camera that will come with the next generation of iPhone 5. Another report in 9to5 Mac suggests that new smartphone from Apple will come loaded with ARM_S5L8950X chipset. Earlier reports had suggested an A6 processor, but now reports indicate it will come with the same A5X processor that was part of new iPad or iPad 3. A report in Macrumors suggests that the processor in iPhone 5 will be at least a 1GHz dual core. It further speculates that the new Apple phone will come with 1GB of RAM and SGX543RC GPU.

All these speculations make the forthcoming iPhone a lot attractive for iPhone fans and so the hype. But Samsung’s Galaxy S3 comes with almost all these features that will be the part of next generation of Apple phone that is still some months away.
