I wish everyone could see this as a victory for women’s rights, which is how France want it to be seen. The Saudi women are obviously ingrained in the belief that they are ‘less’ than men, or they would have been willing to remove their burqa’s. It is so sad to see that some women actually believe this and are happy to live a life of subservience.
