Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley is going to be very interesting fight and the whole world seems to be glued to their television sets and computer and tablet screens to watch this important fight. Though Manny is an overwhelming favorite to win the contest, Timothy Bradley being an undefeated fighter in his career poses biggest threat before Manny in recent times.

Timothy Bradley of Palm Springs, Calif has faced 28 fighters in his distinguished boxing career. And so far he has remained undefeated. He notably beat then-undefeated contender Devon Alexander in January 2011 by technical decision. He followed that victory with a TKO win against Joel Casamayor on the undercard of Pacquiao vs. Marquez. Reports suggest that this fight was decided following allegations that Manny was fighting opponents who were no longer in their prime.

Bob Arum following the decision to pit Manny against Bradley said “People have been saying Manny is beating guys that are past their primes or old guys…Now, he has a guy who is in his prime. He’s younger than Manny and has an impressive résumé.”

For Timothy Bradley this is the most important fight of his whole career. Manny Pacquiao is the highest rated pound for pound boxer of our time and besides Floyd Mayweather Jr be is the top ranked fighter of the last more than a decade.

Before the fight was officially decided Manny Pacquiao coach Freddie Roach joked that he was not prepared to take on the pound for pound king Manny. “Bradley is a tough kid…But I guess that if you have to mention Tim Bradley, then I’m like, ‘Is that all that we’ve got? Tim Bradley?’ Since Bob Arum has signed him, that’s what everyone is assuming – that Manny Pacquiao is next for Tim Bradley. So maybe I will have to assume that too…Tim Bradley ducked one of my guys, Amir Khan, and he would get knocked out by my other guy, Manny Pacquiao.” But boxing fans know that laughing at a boxer is easy, but facing an undefeated boxer inside the ring is far tougher. And Pacquiao will have to do today to take on Mayweather Jr in the months to come.

Pac-Man is much more comfortable fighting at 147 lbs. than Bradley is, but Desert Storm can cut Pacquiao down to size to some degree if he works the body wears Pac-Man down over the course of the fight.
