Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have reportedly got engaged. So this means that their on and off relationship is finally secure and their fans will no longer be fearful of when they will break or will no longer remain a couple.

Reports suggest that the 22 year old Liam Hemsworth who is known for his role in Hunger Games proposed the diva with a very expensive 3.5-carat diamond ring. Reports suggest that Miley Cyrus was swept off her feet when the actor proposed to her on the last day of the last month.

19-year-old Miley Cyrus who first gained fame for her role on the Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montana is a top pop singer and song writer in the US. Both she and Liam Hemsworth make a terrific couple. Just more than a year ago, the two were united after a very difficult breakup.

The two came back together after Miley Cyrus’ parents also reconciled and got back together after their own separation. This gave Miley real hope that she and Liam Hemsworth were more fit to mend their ways and come together compared to her parents. A report says that initially they started talking more at the same time Miley’s parents were mending things. They started getting back together around Valentine’s Day and were back on as boyfriend and girlfriend pretty soon.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been dating on and off since June 2009. But their relationship became sincere only after their reunion following the split. Following the engagement a beaming Cyrus told People magazine, “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam”.
