Aishwarya Rai at Cannes 2012 has showed beyond doubt that there is no weighty issues involved. She has lost all her weight gained during pregnancy

Aishwarya Rai, the top Bollywood heroine who was being rumored to have pot on lots of weight following the childbirth has squashed all such rumored with a single appearance at Cannes. She looked elegant and the same old Ash we have known for more than a decade.

Though it would be untrue not to accept that she looks a bit healthier post childbirth, but it is not true that she looks obese as many reports wanted us to believe. In Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla clothes she made heads turn with her red carpet walk in Cannes.

The Bachchan bahu, looked so gorgeous that a British model admitted that she still carries the old charm that was visible when she had won the Miss world title. Aishwarya Rai, who often features on “most beautiful” lists across the world, won the Miss World crown in 1994. She went on to build a successful Bollywood career with hits such as “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” and “Devdas”.

Her and Shah Rukh Khan film Devdas was recently listed in the top ten films of the decade not just in Bollywood, but in overall film industry across the world. The actress has also worked in Hollywood films such as “The Pink Panther 2″ and is a regular at the Cannes film festival.

Aishwarya Rai married to Amitabh Bachchan’s son Abhishek Bachchan in 2007 has considerably added to the Bachchan brand. Her husband is not as accomplished a hero as she and that aspect has been raised many a times by tabloids to prove that there were differences between the two.
