There are certain indications suggesting that the Cupertino-based Apple’s very popular MacBook Pro is set to undergo a complete overhaul from both outside and inside. The new version will be very different from the existing versions and people will love to get the next upgrade as soon as it hits the shelves. Apple has resisted to change the designs of the MacBook Pro so far, but sources suggest that Apple has gone for a complete design makeover for the 2012 version of MacBook Pro.

Experts are unanimous that the forthcoming version of the MacBook Pro line will be yet another brilliant product from Apple, which is known for a line of quality products under every category from desktop to portable musical player. A PCMag report says, “The company (Apple) aims by the end of this year to completely overhaul its MacBook Pros, giving the laptops a makeover by adopting some of the attributes of its ultra-thin MacBook Air machines, according to an AppleInsider report, which cited unnamed sources familiar with Apple’s plans”.
The best kept secret in the Apple MacBook Pro 2012 is Intel Ivy Bridge processor. Experts are certain that the latest Ivy Bridge Processor is going to be installed in the MacBook Pro. There are reports that suggest that almost every versions of the Pro will come with various variants of Intel’s upcoming processors. A report in Apple Insider suggests that the 15-inch version of Pro will get Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 Ivy Bridge chipset. The Pro 2012 line MacBook will come with 2.7GHz Intel Core i7-3820QM with Intel HD 4000 graphics. It will certainly improve the functioning of the MacBook Pro by several notches.
The next generation MacBook Pro will come with several times better graphical performance than the existing ones. Reports suggest that Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics will completely eclipse the performance of the existing Pro variants. The difference is going to be from 50 to more than 100 percent and will stump the users. A report in Macrumors.com about the expected improvement in the Macbook performance says, “…significant improvements to integrated graphics performance could show up as a benefit in a number of areas, including providing users with better performance even when opting for the battery-conserving graphics settings. Apple has also reportedly been considering using integrated graphics only in some of its mid-range MacBook Pro models, with the HD 4000 chip making it feasible for the company to drop the dedicated graphics chip on some of those models while still being able to offer acceptable graphics performance”. The improvement in graphics performance will show on the overall functions of the Pro.
Another improvement is going to be in the enhanced display screen. The new MacBook Pro is expected to get the iPad and iPhone-style Retina Display with better anti-glare protection. This will force McBook pro users to fall in love with their machine.
So the changes are going to be all encompassing and people will certainly love their forthcoming MacBook Pro that will probably be launched during WWDC 2012.
