Mayweather vs Cotto fight video goes viral: Mayweather vs Pacquiao demanded

Floyd Mayweather vs Miguel Cotto fight video has gone viral since the results came out. Meanwhile Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight demand has picked up once again

No one had given Miguel Cotto a chance to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr who remains undefeated in his career so far. But at the end of the fight many reviewers were thinking that Miguel Cotto had in fact emerged a winner. On my card too he was a winner, but as Mayweather had stuck to the basics and had hit Miguel Cotto direcly at least 35 times more than him, he was pronounced a unanimous winner.

The fight that was being expected to be one-sided in Mayweather’s favor turned out to be more than that. Miguel Cotto gave Mayweather Jr a run for his money and was standing tall till the end of a 12 round long and tiresome fight. Till the very end of the ferocious fight many people were thinking that Miguel Cotto was a winner.

But the referees who always go on technicalities thought that Mayweather was the actual winner and pronounced him the unanimous winner tonight.

A bleeding Mayweather after the fight said, he was faced against his toughest opponents in his boxing career. “You’re a hell of a champion, the toughest guy I fought…I had to fight hard, suck it up. He’s no pushover”, said the champion following a championship that enthralled the viewers.

Mayweather, who has gone undefeated and after today has won 43 fights in all, won the fight 117-111, is standing tall in the boxing world. But now the demand for a fight between Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao is going to get shriller.

Miguel Cotto who took the aura of invincibility off from Mayweather and made him tire in the ring and remain standing perfectly well on his feet, was beaten quite easily by Manny Pacquiao. Many boxing experts rate Manny a lot higher than Mayweather Jr and he is called the best pound for pound boxer of our time. A boxing fan has this to say, “Did everyone see how Cotto caught Floyd with some wild side step punches similar to Manny. You can’t defend against Manny’s punches because they come in 5 to 6 bunches and the power is tremendous. Plus Manny is willing to take punishment while dishing it out and Cotto was not ready to go that far to test Floyd. Is it the speed or the power that makes Floyd question if “Manny is on steroids?’ it is right time that Manny Pacquiao and Mayweather camp came together and get ready to sort out the issue. Their fight will decide once and for all as to who is the king of the ring.

    Floyd will always have a reason NOT to fight Manny, from drugs to money issue. he will find something else just to avoid fighting Manny. He will/
    might even choose Canelo Alvarez just to avoid Manny Pacquiao.
    If they will eventually fight Floyd will be much older and even this time Manny is considering retirement already. When Manny will retire once, it will be for good.
    Gone are the days when they have to and were obliged to defend their prized belts!
    Who can make them face in the ring and fight?

    That’s the million dollar question isn’t it; Does Mayweather have what it takes to beat Manny?
    When he decides he does he’ll take the fight, until then he’ll put it off, bitch, moan and whine.
    True champions aren’t afraid of putting it all on the line. You can’t argue with his record, but Mayweather’s personality leaves many with a bad taste in the mouth.

    It was a very good fight, i think it was one of the best fight of mayweather and cotto has proven himself as a true warrior.

    I am a fan of Manny but I think it will be difficult for him to beat Floyd. He is a much bigger guy and his defense is second to none.

    Having said that, It will be difficult also for Floyd to beat Manny. Pacman is very “awkward”, he throws punches in any direction.

    I guess it will be a draw… It it happens.. that’s a big IF.

    This fight showed you two guys who are not on PED’s. In the 12th round you should not look like it’s the first round. Like PAc.

    Manny has only fought one fight not on PED’s out of all his fights since he moved up. That was his last one. It was the first time he actually looked like he was fighting in the 12th and not looking like it was the first round.

    I believe manny pacman is the best pound for pound fighter and is not scared to get in the ring with anyone he faces. He has tried so many times to face mayweather. Mayweather has backed down with so many excuses. Like blood tests outside of boxing regulations manny agreed to it as long as mayweather did the same blood test mayweather refused. The last one was the prise belt manny wanted the money to be split 50/50 but greedy mayweather wanted it 60/40. I think mayweather doesnt want to tarnish his record with a loss. I believe he is scared to fight manny and we all know that for sure we have seen the proof. The fight difference between manny-cotto and mayweather-cotto was a no brainer who the better fighter is Pacman was proven without doubt to be the best fighter in the world. So Mayweather you better hurry and come out from under the covers and fight manny before he retires for good. Its on mayweather to show the world he is the best by fighting manny pacman if he does that then he will have proven himself to the world but for right now “MANNY” is and allways be the champion of the world.

    yes the writer of the article is an idiot…. that was a 100% best cotto, not a catch weight cotto.just give floyd his due on this fight, i scored it 9 rounds to 3. that my friend is a unanimous decision. even floyd haters have given him his due because they could see that cotto was at his best. last thing, how can one be the greatest PPP fighter of our time when one has so many losses and draws, and lets not talk about the marquez situation, where as pac can barely sqeeze out a victory from marquez…floyd has never sqeezed out a victory, they are all unanimous decisions except for the de la hoya fight.when its all said and done in the history books, pac will be like joe frasier,a great fighter, but not known as the greatest.
