Most of the time you will be in 2025 as David Mason, son of Black Ops original’s protagonist Alex Mason. Black Ops character Frank Woods will narrate the story. Woods, who is an old man in the story, didn’t die at the end of the Black Ops. The story also tells about a fictitious second Cold War, which will be fought between the U.S and China due to the shortage of Rare Earth Elements, which are used to produce military weapons and tech devices.
Many Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’s real-world hooks are inspiration of P.W Singer’s Wired for War: The Robotics Revolution and Conflict in the 21st Century. Black Ops 2’s director Dave Anthony says that we should learn more about imaginary Viktor Reznov, who was “essentially a figment of the player’s imagination.” Raul Mendez, who hacks a protection drone and weapons from the U.S. military, will be the villain of the new Balck Ops. David Goyer, co-writer of the Dark Knight and Batman Begins is the writer of Black Ops 2’s plot.
