What's Windows 8? You mean Bob 2.0? Welcome to fail. XP really was the best GUI. Simple and productive.

Multiple monitor support has been around since Windows XP. Frankly, I think it has taken a step backwards in the consumer preview of Windows 8. The charms are a pain with multiple monitors that need a bigger hit area and visual queues (aka the start button, not the menu but the queue). So I can have different wall papers on different monitors. Having the taksbar be able to extend and include jump lists natively is a good thing bit Metro apps don't use the task bar and that is what they are pushing. I much prefer pinned taskbar apps to the start anything for launching and switching between programs.

Splitting up the functions across 3 areas that were in one place (start menu) is a huge misstep. Windows 8is not for business. They will "sell" a number of licenses but not many will be installed.

They learn from Vista 2 / ME 3 and Windows 9 is much better.
