Motorola Droid Razr HD with 720p HD leaked to media

Motorola Droid Razr HD with 720p HD has been leaked to media. The Droid RAZR line of Motorola has so far done wonders for the company, so it becomes a matter of great interest and credibility when new leaks hint at yet another upgrade on the product range, viz the Droid RAZR HD.

The new product rumour has been leaked through an employee of Motorola, Vic Yu, designated as an engineer and program manager at Motorola Mobility.

The new product, codenamed ‘Vanquish’, was revealed in the EXIF data of the Motorola employee. The data also revealed that there is a camera with a f/2.4 aperture and a focal length of 5mm. The software version mentioned there is Ice Cream Sandwich build of 4.0.3.

It can be argued that EXIF data can easily be faked, but reasons are in favour of the rumour. He uploaded pictures of an apparently new product named Droid RAZR HD. What makes the rumour credible is that the RAZR line has been a great success for Motorola and it only begs reason that Motorola Mobility would plan to upgrade the RAZR line quickly. There are also hints that Google might be planning to sell off Motorola Mobility to Huawei, but this is no reason to cause any disruption in the plans to design new products.

Motorola Droid RAZR has been out in the market for only a few months and it became an instant hit. Then quickly the hotly anticipated product was upgraded by Motorola in the form of the Droid RAZR Maxx, which included a more powerful battery giving 8+ hour battery life.

Despite the quick upgradation and the specs of both the handsets being excellent and at par with the best in the market, both still had a qHD display resolution. Thus it was only a matter of time before Motorola took care of this one spec that seemed to be lagging behind with a 720p display.

Before this recent leak, there was also onew a few weeks back that was about yet another Droid. That one was called the Droid Fighter. The Droid Fighter had a 4.6-inch 720p display and looked very much like the Droid RAZR.

I’m in. My current pkone, RAZR MAXX, has been a stellar performer and will be ceded to my daughter as soon as the HD is available. Certainly I’m somewhat ‘stung’ by the rapidity of the succesive releases of the latest wrinkle in the Droid RAZR line but as the technology has advanced I’m finding these Droids invaluable for use in everyday life. Some’d say that I’m a sucker for effectively clever marketing yet these compact ‘pocket computers’ prove themselves indispensable regularly. I can’t recall feeling let down by the service with Verizon, the sturdy and utilitarian build of Motorola’s line of Droid devices and the imtegration of the two.
