Delhi civic polls: Results at a glance

New Delhi, (IANS) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) retained control of Delhi’s civic body, securing 138 seats out of 272 seats, while the Congress improved its last time’s tally of 64 and ended up with 78 seats.

Here is the final tally -

North Delhi

BJP: 59; Congress: 29; Others: 16

South Delhi

BJP: 44; Congress: 30; Others: 30

East Delhi

BJP: 35; Congress: 19; Others: 10

Delhi population – 16.7 million
