Solar flare 2012 or solar storm is set disrupt magnetic field on earth in the days to come. Two huge flares are racing towards earth and may hit it pretty soon

Solar flares are not going to end anytime soon and threats from new and newer solar flares are increasing with every passing day. The two solar flares that began on March 6th may pose danger for telecom and other signals in the earth in the days to come and there may be some other negative impact of the flare in many parts of the earth.

NASA has churned out more information about the two latest solar flares that are travelling menacingly fast towards earth. Reports suggest that both the flares are travelling with speed of 1300 miles per second and 1100 miles per second respectively.

Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory has been churning out more and more details about the solar flares. It suggests that not just earth, but even Mars may feel the impact of the two flares in the days to come.

The worst solar storm to impact the earth was in the year 1972. The solar flare will be remembered because it occurred in between two Apollo missions: the crew of Apollo 16 had returned to Earth in April and the crew of Apollo 17 was preparing for a moon landing in December. The sun is a mess of tangled magnetic fields that have the potential to snap like a rubber band and hurl dangerous electrified plasma out into space.
