The Galaxy S Blaze 4G is making headlines across the world. The Korean tech giant is leaving no stones unturned when it comes to phone and tablet markets. The Galaxy S Blaze 4G is yet another instance for the Korean tech maker’s simple intention to ensure its presence in every possible corners of smartphone industry. T-Mobile is slated to roll out the Galaxy S Blaze 4G in the U.S. next month. The carrier will sell the Android handset for a price below $200 with two year data contract. In fact, little info is revealed of the specs and features of the gadget. Read on to know the details available about the device.

Hardware
Both Samsung and T-Mobile haven’t divulged some basic details about the Galaxy S Blaze 4G. It is not clear how thick and dense it will be. Of course, we have enough reason to think that the Galaxy Blaze 4G may be slimmer than 9mm. Well, all recent Samsung phones feature density around 9mm. In weight as well, the new Galaxy phone may outdo many of its rivals. When it comes to the screen, the Blaze 4G will sport a 3.97-inch (4-inch) Super AMOLED capacitive touch display. With 480 x 800 pixel resolution at 235ppi and TouchWiz UI, the multitouch screen will enhance the Galaxy S Blaze 4G.

The device will not lag in performance as well. It will be powered by a dual core 1.5GHz Scorpion Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon processor, Adreno 220 GPU and 1GB of RAM. For data storage, the Blaze 4G has two options; 16GB and 32GB, plus a microSD slot to expand storage with memory sticks up to 32GB capacity. Well, in both processing and data storage, the Blaze 4G will do better.

The midrange Galaxy S phone comes with moderate camera specs too. It will mount a 5-megapixel rear camera with 2592×1944 pixels, autofocus and geo-tagging. You can also enjoy face and smile detection, image stabilization and touch focus on the handset. The camera is capable to shoot video at 720p@30fps. A secondary camera of 1.3-megapixel will let users make video chats. We have no info available on the battery of the Galaxy S Blaze 4G.

Software
Samsung hasn’t exposed which version of Android will run the Galaxy S Blaze 4G. There is less chance that the moderate Galaxy S phone will get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on release. As we can presume, the device will be featuring Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The device will be a complete Android phone with full Android Market support and many other features.

Connectivity
First of all, the Blaze 4G is not a real 4G phone though its name alluding so. The device comes with a 3.5G HSPA+ radio, meaning that it will run on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network. The HSPA+ offers maximum speed of 42Mbps, which is nowhere close to Verizon’s 3.9G LTE network that performs at 100Mbps. In addition, the gadget touts Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0 and a microUSB 2.0. Stereo FM and A-GPS support are also there.

Release and price
Announcing the Galaxy S Blaze 4G at CES 2012 in Las Vegas in January, Samsung said the device would appear in stores in March this year. Yes, reports confirm that the Galaxy S phone is about to hit T-Mobile next month. The carrier will sell the device for $149 with two year data contract.
