They come under different categories, but both will be the best in their respective categories. Here is a short comparison of ASUS Transformer Prime TF700T vs Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.

ASUS Transformer Prime TF700T has been showcased and it is going to be released within a few months in the market. After the extraordinary praise that Transformer Prime received from reviewers across the world, the forthcoming edition of the tablet will be keeping the good thing of the Prime intact and do away with its shortcomings.

Many people have wondered that with Transformer Prime being launched just over a month ago and the company feeling the pinch of high demand and its inability to fulfill the orders, how it would proceed to produce another tablet with almost similar specifications with slight improvement.

Many people have been disappointed with the delay in delivery of the Transformer Prime. A reader says, “I ordered a Transformer Prime 201 from Best Buy Oct. 25., for a gift. It is still not available. I cancelled my order. Looks like the TF700T will correct some of the issues with alum case that decreases the ability to receive GPS and WIFI signals. Don’t know if I will ever buy anything from “Best Buy” again. They still do not have a clue when it will be available”.

Another reader who is disappointed with the delivery of the Transformer Prime Tablet says, “I am still waiting on my preorder from 11/22/2011 for the 64gb. They should not even announce anything until they have a warehouse of the items in stock before they even announce a release date. They knew what to expect from all the preorders before the release date was announce and they should do some real world testing prior to being released.

Notwithstanding the delay and some initial hiccups Transformer Prime is getting great reviews from both reviewers and users. 1. In regards to some orders not being filled by Best Buy.

My order was canceled yesterday and after calling customer support I found out why. They don’t make the Champagne Gold color anymore. And they aren’t continuing it. So it’s purple or nothing. I had reserved the Gold 32 GB and was told by Best Buy customer support that their warehouse was out of them and could not get any more in. After poking around a little more I found a Q&A section on Best Buy’s Transformer Prime page and there was a question of color for the system. There was a reply from Asus themselves confirming that the tablet was only going to be available in Amethyst Gray.

So if you’re waiting for a Gold one? I’d check things out and see about switching because to my research they look like a promotional item now.

  2. Im sorry but what kind of comparison is this…. completely different processors (dual core vs quad core) and screen resolutions (720p vs 1200p) you can’t make this comparison!

You cannot compare mAh to Wh they are completely different units! one includes voltage one doesn’t… they are not comparable! Please do more research before posting information instead of posing information that gives the wrong impression to the public!

  4. You have got to be kidding me. Color and accessories to impress others are more important that the actual computer product it’s self?

As a computer geek, it is becoming a sad, sad day where fashion is more important to some over function. Felix, just give apple all your money, then get on the payment play for monthly automatic withdraws from you account.

  5. This looks like an experiment by Asus to see how much they can make people want a particular product by delaying delivery way past a reasonable period of time. People are freaking out for sure. I imagine someone in Asus has last their job over this situation.
What is most annoying about the whole situation is that Asus has not officially said anything on their own site to my knowledge about (a) the mercurial delivery date, and (b) the widely reported problems with wireless (the main reason you buy the thing) reception and the GPS not functioning well. Hopefully the update will help the GPS but the wireless is most important to everyone by far I’m pretty sure. What good is a tablet that you cannot log onto the net with in a coffee shop?

  6. Believe me Greg I begrudgingly considered it… but I wasn’t saying the color was ultimately important. I wasn’t informed the color I was waiting for was discontinued in time to switch. I would have if I had known and could have. I’m just trying to help others out by letting them know so they can avoid the same situation.

Personally it’s just a matter of wondering why all the secrecy about these like that? If you’re not going to make the thing in a certain color, tell people! Don’t just answer in some hidden little Q&A Asus.

  7. I was researching the prime but the unfulfilled orders and technicle issues it looks like an absolute shemozzle.

A lot of buyers remorse in Asus land is a bad look.

  8. I got my Prime delivered and tbh it’s worth the wait whatever colour you get. By far the best tablet out there so I’d recommend waiting it out to receive if you’ve ordered one.
