HTC Sensation XL vs Samsung Galaxy Note: comparison

HTC Sensation XL and Samsung Galaxy Note are great smart phones and are hogging the limelight. Both have great specifications and features and may give good fight to other smart phones available in the market.

HTC Sensation XL is a smart phone that gets many things absolutely right. It is a good blend of great design, that HTC has mastered over the years and great specifications. HTC Sensation XL, a music-oriented smartphone with a jumbo-sized 4.7” display, 16GB of internal storage, and bundled Beats Solo headphones. It’s a strong mix of features that results in one of the most appealing smartphones that HTC has released to date.

If you wondered why HTC invested so heavily on Beats Audio, you will understand the reason when you see this great phone. HTC has manufactured the smart phone with an eye on audiophiles. On the other hand Samsung’s Galaxy Note comes up even with a large 5.3-inch smart phone.

Samsung has already announced the Ice Cream Sandwich release for Nexus S and Samsung Galaxy S2, and these two phones too will get it pretty soon. Right now booth Galaxy Note and Sensation XL come up on Android v2.3 Gingerbread.

Both the phones come with great camera. HTC has also made some strides in the camera department. The Sensation XL is the first HTC phone (that we know of) to offer a backside-illuminated sensor, similar to the one found on the iPhone 4/4S. HTC Sensation XL comes with an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus, face detection and image stabilization. But it can only take 720p video at 30fps. The phone mounts a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera with 28mm f/2.2 lens. On the other hand Samsung Galaxy Note comes with a very powerful 8-megapixel camera with a resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels. It features autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, face detection and much more. Amazingly, you can capture HD video at 1080p @ 30fps. The phone features a 2-megapixel camera for video chatting.

HTC’s Sensation XL has a clear audience. It aims to attract music lovers. The company has tied up with Dr. Dre Beats Audio for both software and hardware features. Now the device has Beats Audio software tweaks and special earbuds for the audio standard. It is certain that HTC Sensation XL will be sold out in big numbers. There is no doubt about it. Note on the other hand is already drawing the attention of everyone who wants to see great video on his or her smart phone.

    This comparison review clearly stating that htc sensation xl is more than what we can get from other smartphone device in the market.. One sided review, just trying to get attention from reader to look at htc sen xl.. Xl does not even get closer with the note… Just the beats there is….
