XUV 500 Mahindra & Mahindra’s new SUV comes with 2179cc engine and Rs 10.80 lakh to Rs 12.88 lakh price tag

Mumbai: From software to auto and aviation major Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced a top class SUV in the Indian market. The XUV 500 is aiming to put the multibillion dollar Indian MNC on the international auto map.

The new SUV is positioned above one of the hottest selling SUV from M&M Scorpio and its last big launch Xylo. It is going to compete against international players in the days to come and Mahindra & Mahindra. The company is expecting a big market for this car in international market as well and car experts are calling it Mahindra’s arrival in the world market.

Priced at Rs 10.80 lakh to Rs 12.88 lakh Mahindra XUV 500 will be great to drive on Indian roads.

The new car comes with contemporary design, exterior style and sophisticated technologies that find a comfortable and apt place in this new SUV.

M&M design engineers at the Mahindra Research Valley at Chennai have developed it in-house in India and put in the best in class manufacturing standards in its production. With the XUV 500 in, Mahindra will be able to embark on giving an Indian SUV option to the world.

A report suggests that the new SUV has been developed on a platform that are generally designed for  small aircraft. Meanwhile M&M has recently tested a small five seater aircraft that has the capacity to make aircraft available for very low prices in the Indian market.

Meanwhile its engine is also a new transverse engine from Mahindra staple. Meanwhile critics have said that its design and development are truly of global quality. Experts also say that this keeps the highest standards of safety.

This comes with 2179cc engine. Reports suggest that the new Mahindra SUV will generate a maximum power of 120 Bhp and a maximum torque of 290 Nm and will come with 6-speed manual gearbox.
