Prof. Ali Mohammad of AMU gets Dr. P.D. Sethi Award 2010

ALIGARH: Prof. Ali Mohammad, Department of Applied Chemistry, Z.H. College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University has been awarded with Dr. P.D. Sethi Award 2010 for the best HPTLC Paper.

The award was presented to Prof. Ali Mohammad and his co-authors Mr. Nazrul Haq and Ms. Asma Siddiq for carrying out good quality and analytical research.

The paper titled “Resolution of Multi-component  mixture of amino acids using environmentally benign eluents: A green chromatographic approach has won the certificate of merit amongst the fifty publications received by the Dr. P.D. Sethi Award 2010 for the best research paper on application of TLC/HPTLC in pharma, herbal and other analysis. This is the sixth year of award, sponsored by Anchrom, Mumbai to honor Dr. P.D. Sethi, India’s well-known pharmaceutical analyst.
