Cloud burst in Kullu district of Himachal, two killed

Shimla: A cloud burst took place at Dhoondi near Solang Nalaha in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh late last evening, according to reports reaching at State headquarters. Seven persons are reported to be missing and out of them bodies of two have been recovered.
Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner, Kullu to rush the spot immediately after receiving the information alongwith a team of officers and doctors to supervise the relief and rescue operation. He further directed that adequate relief be provided to the victims of this cloud burst and search operation for the missing persons be intensified.
In the meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner, Kullu alongwith team of officers and others rushed to the spot to supervise the rescue and relief operation. The search for missing persons is going on.
