Architectural Design Competition for an Eco-Friendly School organized at CCA

Chandigarh:  The Euro group, The Nand and Jeet Khemka Group and The Nabha Foundation in association with  Chandigarh College of Architecture Sector-12, Chandigarh organized ‘The Architectural Design Competition for an Eco-Friendly School’ on Saturday, July 16, 2911 at Chandigarh College of Architecture Sector-12, Chandigarh.

The Finance Secretary, Chandigarh Administration, Mr. V.K.Singh was the chief guest on the occasion.  Addressing the budding Architects, Mr. Singh said  that it is good to see that the various groups are initiating  such events that can help the future professionals to give wings to  their dreams. He expressed his happiness over the idea of using the selected designs to build some new buildings of the schools.  He said that the Chandigarh Administration is always willing to help such initiatives and if needed the designs of the young Architects can be used in the city schools also.

 The selected eight teams presented their structure deigns in front of the jury members. Three best among the eight entries were given the cash prizes and the certificates by the Hon’ble Finance Secretary.  Some of the old pupils of the college were also honored at the function.

 The other presented on occasion were including C.E.O, Euro Group, Mr. Christian Werle, Chairman, Khemka Foundation, Mr. Don Mohan Lal, Principal of Chandigarh College of Architecture, Mr. Pardeep Bhagat, other members of the different foundations and the Students from the various parts of the country.
