Kashmiri Pandits observe ‘black day’

Jammu: Demanding Kashmiri Pandit community be recognised as internally displaced persons in Jammu and Kashmir, the community members yesterday observed a “black day” and marched to the United Nations (UN) office here.

Kashmiri Pandit organisations, including the All-State Kashmiri Pandits Conference (ASKPC), the Panun Kashmir, the Kashmir Sikh Displaced Forum (KSDF) and the NCMMC, held a demonstration and marched towards the UN office to press their demand.
